My Inspirational Moment 3
My title for this moment is Celebrating Our Divinity. This morning, we want to assure ourselves that we are not merely human. We assure ourselves that we are truly divine and this must be celebrated. Celebrating our divinity actually means Knowing who We are in God & who God is in Us! Our divinity is our true, authentic, Real, Christly Godly nature. The best scripture that simply embraces our divinity is Genesis 1:27a: God made us in His own image and in His own likeness. So we are divine because we are the Spiritual image & likeness of our Almighty God!
When We know & celebrate Our divinity, this wholeness in knowing & celebrating Our divinity excels through all aspects of our lives, ensuring that all aspects of our divine lives glorify Our God who reigns in Us & for Us.
Additionally, when We know & celebrate Our divinity this ensures that all aspects of Our divine lives reveal God, reflect God’s perfect good in Us, through Us, as Us & for Us
When We know & celebrate who We are in God & who God is in Us, we are empowered & enriched in God to uplift mankind to the glory of God
Most of the challenges of life can be overcome when we know who we are in God & who God is in Us, & constantly remind Ourselves of Our powerful divinity which transcends all limitations of humanity!
Today we have very short scriptures in support of this our divinity:
1. And God made us in His own image & likeness! Gen 1:27a.
2. As Jesus Christ is So are We in this world! 1 John 4:17b
3. We are made to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus! Eph 2:6
4. I & My Father are 1! Jn10:30
5. This is My beloved in whom I am well pleased! Matt 3:17b.
All these scriptures help us realise, know & celebrate how divine we are in God. Now Who is God in Us then. Based on my own intimate encounter with God in my own life, this is who God has been to Me!
1. God is My wonderful, magnificent, beautiful Presence that is never an absence
2. God is My loving Intelligence governing the whole universe!
This is how divine God is in Us. This is the magnitude of who God is in Us! And for God to have made us in His own image & likeness as in Gen 1:27a means we are Really blessed. We must Celebrate & treasure our lives as God’s own spiritual image & likeness. We must know, value & love our lives as such because we are truly divine. God made us sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus in Eph 2:6, & Jesus said in Jn 10:30 that I & My Father are 1. So this is how divine, wonderful & amazing we are in God because Jesus points us to our own divinity!
Above all, God said This is My beloved in whom I am well pleased: God actually rejoices over Us. Zephaniah 3:17 for as Jesus is so are we in this world. 1Jn4:17b. Beloved, we must constantly remind Ourselves of these our truth. This is the truth of our divine life in God & why we ought to celebrate our divinity in knowing who we are in God & who God is in Us.
1. We thank God for reminding us to celebrate & know our divinity i.e who we are in God & Who God is in Us: We are wonderfully made in the spiritual image & likeness of God. We thank God for the realization that we are not merely human but we are truly divine: a royal priesthood, holy nation, God’s own people called into God’s marvelous light. This is how divine we are in God & we thank God for this & celebrate this to the glory of God
2. Now we thank God for how divine God is in us: God is our wonderful, magnificent, beautiful Presence that is never an absence. God is Our loving intelligence governing Our whole universe. We thank God that we came from God’s perfect idea
3. We pray & affirm that we treasure, value & love our lives as spiritual beings made in God’s own image & likeness as in Gen 1:27a. We treat our lives with wonder because God reigns in, as, through & for us.
4. Since we are made to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus in Eph 2:6, we pray & affirm that we fully enjoy this our seat & actually experience the wonder working power of being seated in Christ as divine beings.
5. Jesus said in Jn 10:30 I & My Father are 1 & God said in Matt 3:17b this is My beloved in whom I am well pleased. We pray & affirm that we God’s beloved find rest & victory in this one love!
6. 1John 4:17b concludes that as Jesus is so are we in this world. May this our Christ consciousness be visible in all our life’s areas
7. Finally we affirm our divinity of who we are in God & who God is in us on this beautiful day that we’ve been blessed with in this very moment. We declare our divinity in all aspects of our lives: We decree this our divinity on our health lives, on our family lives, on our personal lives, on our missions & visions for our lives. We affirm our divinity on our love lives, on our success lives, on our prosperity lives, on our financial / money/ wealth lives, on our spiritual lives & on our physical lives. May we celebrate our divinity for all aspects of our lives as we reveal God & God’s perfect good. May we truly celebrate our divinity as our lives glorify God & uplift mankind to the glory of God & these are all happening NOW!
